LIC Platinum credit card boasts a powerful rewards program wherein a card member can earn rewards points on every spend, while accelerated rewards points are available on international payments and LIC policy premium payments.
Axis Bank LIC Platinum credit card also provides complimentary lost card liability insurance cover up to the existing credit limit of the card.
Rewards Points on LIC Platinum Credit Card
- For every Rs 100 spent on LIC policy premium payments and foreign currency transactions, a user can earn 2 reward points.
- For every Rs 100 spent on all other categories, you can earn 1 reward point. Transactions involving wallet top-ups, EMI conversions and fuel payments are not qualified for reward points.
Rewards Points Redemption
- LIC Platinum credit card members can redeem the accumulated rewards points for e-vouchers, listed products and gift cards.
- The rewards points earned during the card membership year can be redeemed by calling the LIC Platinum credit card customer care number 1800 419 0064.
- In order to redeem the rewards points, you have to confirm the desired product code, select quantity, confirm the address of delivery and place the request.
- A handling charge of Rs 30 + GST is levied on rewards points conversion through LIC Platinum credit card.
- The confirmed gift cards and products listed on the rewards catalogue of LIC Platinum credit cards are delivered to the registered address within 21 working days from the date of rewards points redemption.
- E-vouchers will be sent via SMSes on the mobile number registered with the bank within 10 working days from rewards points redemption. LIC doesn’t issue physical vouchers as e-vouchers are only communicated through the registered mobile numbers.
- Axis Bank LIC Platinum credit card holders are only qualified for a maximum of 25 gift cards in a financial year. Any request for reward point redemption against products or e-vouchers will be rejected and rewards points will be reversed in 45 to 90 days.
Fuel Surcharge Waiver
- With LIC Platinum credit cards, a cardmember can enjoy a 1% fuel surcharge waiver across all fuel stations in India. However, there are no rewards points on fuel purchases.
- The fuel surcharge waiver benefit is only applicable for transaction sizes ranging between Rs 400 and Rs 4,000 with the maximum monthly benefit capped at Rs 400.
- The applicable GST on fuel surcharge is not included in the surcharge waiver benefit.

LIC Platinum Credit Card Eligibility Criteria
For LIC Platinum credit cards, the basic eligibility parameters are the age of the applicant and the residential status.
- Age: The age of the primary credit card applicant should be between 18 and 70 years.
- Residential Status: The credit card applicant should be a resident of India.
- Credit Score: The credit score should be in good shape while applying for LIC Platinum credit card. Any CIBIL score over and above the mark of 750 is considered good from the lender’s point of view for issuing new credit cards.
The eligibility factors including age, residential status and credit score is only indicative as the approval for credit card applicants may vary from profile to profile. LIC and Axis Bank reserves the right to approve or decline an application for LIC Platinum credit card.

To obtain a LIC Platinum credit card, an applicant should provide a copy of a PAN card or Form 60, proof showcasing income, a coloured photograph, proof of residence, and proof of identity.

The aforementioned documents are generic as there can be different requirements depending on the nature of the profile. For example, you may be asked to submit proof for current address verification, if any of the documents including your Aadhaar, Passport, Electricity Bill, Landline Telephone Bill, and Ration Card contain a different address.
