  • 1% fuel surcharge waiver across all fuel stations in India. 
  • The minimum transaction value should be Rs. 400 and the maximum Rs. 5,000 to avail of this benefit. 
  • The maximum waiver is available of Rs. 250 per statement cycle.

HDFC Millennia Credit Card Fee & Charges

Following are the detailed HDFC Millennia credit card charges:

  • Joining/ renewal membership fee: Rs. 1,000 + applicable taxes. Waived off on spending Rs. 1,00,000 or more in a year before your credit card’s renewal date.
  • Add-on card fee: Lifetime free.
  • Foreign currency transactions: 3.5% of the transaction value.  
  • Charges on revolving credit: 3.6% per month (43.2% per annum).
  • Conversion charges - Auto EMI: EMI conversion of all transactions (except Fuel, Gold and Jewelry) of Rs. 10,000 or more made with Easy EMI Credit Card will be done for 9 months tenure, at an interest rate of 20% p.a. and processing fee of Rs. 99.
  • Cash advance charges: 2.5% of the withdrawn amount or Rs. 500, whichever is higher.
  • Late payment charges: Up to Rs. 1,300, depending on the statement balance. 
  • Charges on over-limit account: 2.5% of the over-limit amount, subject to a minimum of Rs. 550.
  • Payment return charges: 2% of the payment amount, subject to a minimum of Rs. 450.
  • Late fee for non-payment/partial payment of EMI outstanding on Insta Jumbo loans: Rs. 500 + GST. 
  • Cash processing fee: Rs. 100 for all card payments done by depositing in HDFC Bank branches or ATMs.
  • Rewards redemption fee: Rs. 99 per redemption request.
  • Balance transfer on EMI/ Balance transfer processing charges: 1% of the balance transfer amount or Rs. 250, whichever is higher + GST.
  • Processing charges for lnsta Loan, Jumbo Loan & Smart EMI: Rs. 999 + GST.
  • Loan pre-closure charges: 3% of the outstanding balance principal. 
  • Duplicate physical statement charges: Rs. 10 per set.
  • Railway ticket purchase fee: 1% of the transaction amount + GST. 
  • Rent payment fee: 1% fee on transaction amount will be levied w.e.f 01..01.2023 on rental transactions done through HDFC Millennia card on any applicable merchant from the second transaction for the month.
  • Reissuance of lost/ stolen/ damaged card: Rs. 100.
  • Outstation cheque processing charge: Rs. 25 for cheque values up to Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 50 for cheque value above Rs. 5,000.
  • Dynamic currency conversion Markup Fee: 1% w.e.f 01..01.2023.
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST): Applicable on all fees, interest and charges. 

HDFC Millennia Credit Card Eligibility

The following are the eligibility criteria for HDFC credit card Millennia:

  • Eligibility for Salaried Applicants:
    • The applicant must be an Indian national.
    • The applicant must be aged at least 21 years and a maximum of up to 40 years. 
    • The Gross Monthly Income of the applicant should be above Rs. 35,000.
  • Eligibility for Self-employed Applicants:
    • The applicant must be an Indian national.
    • The applicant must be aged at least 21 years and a maximum of up to 40 years.
    • The applicant must have an Income Tax Return (ITR) of above Rs. 6 Lakhs per annum.

HDFC Millennia Credit Card Document Required

If you want an HDFC Bank Millennia credit card apply online with the following documents along with a duly filled-in and signed application and a recent colour photograph:

  • Identity proof (any one): Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driver’s License, PAN Card, Voter’s ID, Job Card issued by NREGA, Letters issued by the UIDAI or any other photo ID proof approved by the government.
  • Residence proof (any one): Passport, Aadhaar Card, Driver’s License, Ration Card, Utility Bill (not older than 3 months), Job Card issued by NREGA, Property Bank Account Statement, Registration Document, or any other address proof approved by the government. 
  • Income proof (any one): Recent salary slips (not older than 3 months), latest Form 16, and last 3 months’ bank statement. 

*Note: HDFC Bank may ask for additional documents, as per their internal policies.

HDFC Millennia Credit Card Rewards Redemption

CashBack is given in the form of CashPoints, which can be redeemed against the statement balance (on request only)

  • The redemption against the statement balance is at the rate of 1 CashPoint = Rs. 1.
  • A minimum of 500 CashPoints balance is required for redemption against the statement balance.
  • CashPoints can also be redeemed against travel benefits like flight and hotel bookings and the Rewards Catalogue at the SmartBuy Rewards Portal, at a value of 1 CashPoint = Rs. 0.30.
  • Unredeemed CashPoints will expire after 2 years of accumulation.
  • For flights and hotel redemption, you can redeem up to 50% of the booking value through Reward Points. The rest of the transaction amount will have to be paid through the Credit Card limit.
  • With effect from 01.01.2023, reward points redemption for flights & hotel bookings are capped per calendar month at 50,000.
  • With effect from 01.02.2023, reward points redemption for CashBack redemption are capped at 3,000 reward points per calendar month.
  • With effect from 01.02.2023, you can redeem up to 70% of product/voucher value through reward points on select products/vouchers and pay the remaining amount through the card.
  • Redeem CashPoints at the conversion rate of 1 CashPoint = Rs. 0.30.
