Following are the PNB Credit Card eligibility criteria that the applicant has to satisfy:
- The applicant should be in the age group between 21 to 65 years for a primary card and between 18 years to 65 years for add-on cards.
- Salaried individuals, self-employed individuals/professionals, businessmen, and corporates are eligible for the card.
- To apply for PNB credit cards there is a minimum income criterion to comply with. For a Classic Card, the minimum income for both salaried and the self -employed should be Rs. 1 lakh, for a Gold card the minimum income should be Rs. 2.5 lakhs and for a platinum card the minimum income should be Rs. 5 lakhs.
PNB Bank Credit Card Documents Required
The following documents are required to apply for PNB Credit Card.
- Proof of Identity such as Aadhar Card, Voter?s ID Card, Pass Port, Driving Licence and PAN Card.
- Address Proof such as Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Utility bills, Rental Agreement, Credit Card Statement/ Pass sheet of other banks not older than 3 months.
- Income Proof such as IT Returns, form 16 and the latest Salary Slips. Self-employed professionals/individuals and businessmen should submit the business financial statements like the balance sheet and the profit and loss account statement.
Balance Transfer: How to Use the BT Feature and What are the Benefits?
The balance transfer facility enables the transfer of outstanding balance on other banks card to PNB credit card at a lower rate interest and can be paid in easy instalments.
The processing charges PNB credit card balance transfer facility is 1% of the total balance amount to be transferred or Rs. 199, whichever is higher. The minimum transfer amount should be Rs. 2,000 and the maximum should be 90% of the credit card limit.
To avail of this facility, Punjab National Bank credit cardholders can download the balance transfer application form from the website of PNB cards. Also, the primary cardholder has to submit their latest statements of the other card for which the balance transfer is required.
Bill Payment Options for Punjab National Bank Credit Card
You can make the PNB Credit Card Payment by various methods.
- You can opt for an auto-debit wherein your bank account will be debited for the amount due on the due date thus enabling regular payments. By doing this, you will not miss any bill payment which will in turn improve your credit score.
- You can make the bill payment through the bill desk webpage of the bank. You will have to give the card number and the amount. Thereafter you will be directed to the online payment portal of the bank and with your net banking ID and password you can complete the transaction. You will be provided with a reference number for the transaction.
- If you do not have an account at the bank you can still make the payment by accessing internet banking facility of the bank where you have an account. The payment will be through NEFT or RTGS.
- You can make payment of the credit card by transferring the amount from your bank account to the credit card through ATM.
- You can also make payment through cash at any of the PNB branches.
- Payment through cheque is one of the accepted methods.

- You can call the toll-free number 1800-180-2345 to track the application status or call the customer care number 0120-4616200. If you need more information about the application status then you can send a mail to the email id creditcardpnb@pnb.co.in. You will get a reply within 1 or 2 days.
- You can visit the official website of the bank and select the credit card option. Thereafter you will have to either provide the application number or form number and click to submit. You will get the status details immediately.
- You can also send an SMS <K CCAPP> to 5676788 or 9971056767 to get the necessary information.
Normally the processing time taken for the Credit Card application is 21 working days.
You can register for PNB Credit Card net banking by accessing the bank’s official website. You will get a user ID and a password with which you can access your credit card account 24 x 7 to get to know the details of your transactions.
- You should have a minimum of 500 points to redeem it into Inter Miles.
- You have to call the PNB customer care and place a request for the redemption.
- Once the request is placed, download the redemption request form, complete the form and send it to PNB Credit Card Processing Centre, A 37 Sector 60 Noida (U. P.)
- The redeemed points will be credited to your JP Account within 15 days.
You can withdraw cash up to 30% of your credit limit. A fee of Rs. 50 to Rs. 100 will be charged per transaction apart from the cash advance charges of 2.5% of the transaction amount.
