  • Club Vistara membership: SBI cards also offer a complimentary Club Vistara Silver Tier membership through which a card member can secure free flight tickets by redeeming CV reward points and free cancellations of Vistara flights.
  • Trident Privilege Membership: A complimentary membership of Trident Hotels is provided to SBI credit card holders under which you can claim bonus points on first stay, hotel credit that can be utilised during the stay.

  • SBI Add-On Credit Card: SBI card allows a primary card member to apply for an add-on credit card for their parents, spouse, siblings over the age of 18 years. The primary and add-on credit cards share the original credit limit. You can realise milestone benefits quickly as the required spend threshold is achieved in lesser time. 
  • SBI Balance Transfer: With SBI credit cards, you can apply for a balance transfer at 0% interest rate for a maximum period of 60 days. SBI levies a processing fee of 2% of the BT amount or Rs 199 + GST, whichever is higher for a balance transfer within the prescribed limit. 
  • SBI Balance Transfer on EMI: No processing fee is charged on the balance transfer on EMI with SBI credit card. You can transfer any outstanding balance of other credit cards to an SBI credit card account on EMI at an interest rate of 1.7% per month, or 20.4% p.a. For a period of 180 days. SBI card balance transfer takes up to 3 days for the amount to get credited in another bank credit card account. 
  • SBI Encash: SBI encash facility allows you to take loan over and above your SBI credit card limit for tenures including 12, 24, 36 and 48 months. The quantum of encash, however, stays within the assigned credit limit and the bank takes 48 working hours to process the encash amount through NEFT. SBI card charges a one-time processing fee of 2%, a minimum of Rs 499 and a maximum of Rs 3,000 + GST. 
  • Fuel Surcharge Waiver: SBI credit cards offer fuel surcharge waivers for purchasing fuel throughout India. SBI credit card members can earn 1% surcharge waiver, provided the transaction is well within the advised range. The quantum of fuel surcharge waiver can vary for different credit cards, while SBI Fuel credit cards such as BPCL SBI credit card and BPCL SBI Octane credit card also offer rewards points on fuel purchases. 
  • SBI Flexipay: SBI Flexipay allows a card member to break big transactions into smaller EMIs to facilitate easy repayments. The minimum permissible amount for Flexipay is Rs 2,500 under which any transaction above Rs 500 within the last 30 days can be converted. A one-time processing fee of 1% up to a maximum of Rs 2,000 is charged for converting the transactions into Flexipay. 
  • SBI Welcome Bonus: Various SBI credit cards offer multiple welcome discounts and bonuses on credit card activation in form of a cashback, voucher or flat discount on a select few merchants. Some SBI credit cards also offer bonus rewards points, while some offer vouchers that are equivalent to the joining/renewal fee for the respective card.

SBI Credit Card Eligibility

SBI Credit Card can be applied by salaried individuals, self-employed professionals, and businessmen. However, to apply they need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as decided by the bank.

SBI Credit Cards Fee & Charges

  • Annual & renewal fees: Annual fee is a one-time charge & renewal fee is charged every year. These charges may vary for different card variants and cardholders.
  • Cash advance fee: 2.5% or Rs. 500, whichever is higher at domestic ATMs & 2.5% or Rs. 500, whichever is higher at international ATMs.
  • Cash payment fee: Rs.199 + all applicable taxes.
  • Finance charges: Up to 3.50% per month or 42% per annum from the date of transaction (minimum Rs. 25 for each transaction, exclusive of applicable taxes).
  • Late payment charges: 
  • Total amount due Rs. 0 - Rs. 500: NIL
  • Total amount due above Rs. 500 & up to Rs. 1,000: Rs. 400
  • Total amount due above Rs. 1000 & up to Rs. 10,000: Rs. 750
  • Total amount due above Rs. 10,000 & up to Rs. 25,000: Rs. 950
  • Total amount due above Rs. 25,000 & up to Rs. 50,000: Rs. 1,100
  • Total amount due above Rs. 50,000: Rs. 1300
  • SBI will also levy an additional late payment charge of Rs. 100 on missing Minimum Amount Due payment by the due date for 2 consecutive cycles.
  • Overlimit fees: 2.5 % of the overlimit amount or Rs. 600, whichever is higher.
  • Payment dishonour fee: 2% of payment amount, minimum Rs. 500
  • Card replacement: Rs. 100 - Rs. 250 (Rs. 1,500 for Aurum)
  • Statement retrieval fee: Rs. 100 per statement for more than 2 months old statements
  • Foreign Currency Transaction fee: 1.99% for Elite & Aurum Cardholders and 3.5% for all other cards.
  • Network change fee: Rs. 200
  • Ad-hoc credit limit increase fee: Rs 200
  • Cheque payment fee: Rs. 100

Balance Transfer: How to Use the BT Feature and What are the Benefits?

The Balance Transfer (BT) facility on your SBI Credit Card enables you to transfer the outstanding balance on your other credit cards from other banks to your SBI Card at a lower rate of interest. When you decide to pay back this transferred balance in EMIs, the facility is called as BT on EMI.

If you are an SBI credit cardholder you can get your limit revised:

  • If you are pre-approved for credit limit offer. You would not need any document to avail such an SBI Credit Card offer. The bank will inform you about the offer by SMS to your registered Mobile Number, Email, Monthly Statement or online in your Login Section.
  • You can request formally to the bank and submit income documents. You are required to email bank at sbicard.com/email and wait for a response for 2 working days. You can also contact SBI Card helpline number.

You can access your Credit Card account online and click Report Lost/Stolen Card' under Tab 'Requests.'

To request a re-issue, click Reissue Card and submit the request.

You must raise a transaction dispute within 25 days of the transaction by filling a Transaction Dispute Form (TDF) and supporting Documents (as mentioned in the TDF). The TDF is available on the central section on the official SBI Card website. On availing TDF, the SBI Card is authorized to investigate the dispute with the respective Merchant. It may take 45-60 days to resolve the dispute. The SBI Card will acknowledge the request as well as resolution via written communication.
