The Bengal Central Bank Limited was established in the year 1918. Details of Rewards of United Bank of India Credit Cards are as given below:
One reward point will be given for every 100/- spent. The minimum spends for accrual of reward points is 100/-. The redemption of the reward points is permitted only on the accumulation of a minimum of 500 points and in multiples of 100. The points accumulated will expire if not redeemed within one year. There is no provision to carry over the accumulated reward points for the next year.
100 reward points earned will be equal to 20/-. On spends of 2.00 lakhs in a year, an additional 1000 reward points will be given. Further 1000 reward points will be given if the annual spend exceeds 3.00 lakhs.
The EMI amount that is included in the bill and fuel purchases will not earn any reward points. Points will be given only for the transactions that are successful. In the case of refund on account of any unsuccessful transaction, the reward points added for the particular transaction will be reversed. If the outstanding payment of the card dues is 30 days past due, then the cardholder will not qualify for the reward points. The reward points can be redeemed through the redemption portal or the Mobile app of the Bank.

Yes, a nomination is required to receive the proceeds of the personal accident insurance in the event of the death of the primary cardholder in an accident.
The cardholder can terminate the card membership by either calling the call centre or by giving a written request for cancelling the card membership to United Bank Credit Card Cell. The membership will be terminated only on receiving the outstanding balance on the credit card in entirety. The add-on cards will be automatically terminated on termination of the primary card. Once the written request is accepted the card has to be cut diagonally to complete the procedure. No joining fees or annual fees will be refunded for the broken period.
The card will be blocked and usage automatically stopped on the death of the primary cardholder or in case of insolvency or bankruptcy of the cardholder. In the event of the death of the primary cardholder, the dues will be set off first with the eligible insurance amount. The legal heir of the primary cardholder will be responsible for any outstanding due over and above the insurance amount.
In the event of the loss or theft of the credit card, the same has to be reported to the bank's credit card cell or call centre. Also, the card has to be immediately blocked using the mobile app or the official credit card website of the bank. If the cardholder realises that the card is being used without his/her permission, even then, the same has to be reported to the Bank and the card has to be blocked. The card should not be used if found at a later date at any cost. If found, it has to be cut diagonally into half.
The bank will not be responsible for fraudulent transactions done on the card before reporting the loss/theft/misuse of the card. The cardholder will be liable for the transactions made before reporting the loss to the bank.
