Indian Bank Centralized Grievance Redressal System

Existing, as well as new customers of Indian Bank, can lodge their complaints online on the CGRS portal, which is the Customer Grievance Redressal System of the bank.

Following is the step-by-step process to lodge your Indian Bank online complaint on the CGRS portal:

  • Open the CGRS portal by clicking the link: https://apps.indianbank.in/cgrc/frm_cgrs_cust_welcome.aspx
  • Click on ‘continue’ to proceed to complain if you haven’t already lodged it, otherwise click on ‘exit’ to exit from the portal.
  • Continue to https://apps.indianbank.in/cgrc/frm_cust_comp.aspx
  • If you have already complained enter your Valid Ticket ID and click on ‘Track’ to know its status.
  • To lodge a new complaint, enter the required details as mentioned below:
    • Customer type
    • Name of the complainant (in case of a new customer)
    • Account number (in case of an existing customer)
    • Telephone number
    • Mobile number
    • Email
    • Product/service about which you have a complaint, such as Wealth products, loans, and advances, digital banking, deposits, etc.
    • Product and services in detail
    • Nature of complaint
    • The root cause of the complaint
    • Transaction date
    • RR/Transaction Number/ Sequence Number
    • Brief details of your complaint
    • Transaction amount
    • Claimed amount (in Rs.)

  • Then type the code shown on the screen.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ to lodge the complaint or click on ‘Reset’ if you want to enter the details again.

Guidelines to complain:

  • If you have already lodged your complaint and the status is under progress, do not complain again as it is already taken up for resolution. 
  • As per Indian Bank’s Policy, other than the extraordinary situations, the bank will initiate steps for resolving and replying to your complaint within 21 days. 
  • In the case of ATM Cash/ POS/ E-commerce/ AEPS transactions-related complaints, wait for 5 days from the date of the transaction as most transaction failures are re-credited within 5 days. If it does get re-credited within 5 days, you may lodge your complaint in the CGRS portal.
  • In case of IMPS/ UPI/ Internet Banking transaction failure-related complaints, wait for 1 day from the date of the transaction as most of such transaction failures are re-credited within a day. If it does not get re-credited within 2 days from the transaction date, you may lodge complaints in the CGRS portal.
